Using dice to pick who goes first

Many rulebooks say the highest roller starts. Everyone rolls in turn and the highest total goes first; players who tie roll again. To skip the rerolls, the dice reveal in the picker rolls for the whole table at once and never ties.

Are these dice fair?

Each die is an independent draw from your browser’s secure random number generator, so every face has exactly the same chance. Unlike real dice, there are no worn edges or lucky throws.
