Before people arrive

Confirm the head count, time and place.Include when you expect to finish. Ask about accessibility needs and food preferences while planning.
Choose a main game and a short backup.Check the player count and play time on your box. Allow extra time when someone is learning.

At the table

Explain the goal, a turn, and how the game ends.Try a sample turn together. Give new players a chance to ask questions before scoring begins.
