Who goes first in Final Titan?

The player whose titan has the highest speed takes the first main turn. Phase 1 then proceeds clockwise.

Official tie-break or fallback

If the highest speeds tie, compare the tied players' second-fastest bench titans, then their next-fastest titans. If the tie remains, draw lots.

If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.

Rule details

The youngest player starts the setup draft, choosing one titan from three face-up cards; drafting proceeds clockwise until each player has three titans. For a first game, the manual instead says to deal three titan cards to each player.

After titan selection, players apply their titans' Start of Game abilities in turn, beginning with the player whose titan has the highest speed, before entering Phase 1.

Once two titans are on the arena, the faster arena titan's player acts first in enhancement and combat; if their speeds tie, the contender acts first. This is a separate order from the initial main turn.

After a duel, return to Phase 1 with the player to the left of the previous contender. If that player also fought in the previous duel, start with the player to their left; the remaining champion does not take part in this phase.
