Who goes first in Gigi Gacker am Würfelacker?
Zoch English rules
The player with the biggest appetite takes the starting-player worm and goes first.
Rule details
During setup, each player gets three dice in one color. With fewer than five players, return one zero-value worm morsel to the box before shuffling the others face down.
Begin each round by revealing a buffet of one worm morsel per player, except in the two-player game. On your first turn, roll your three dice and set one aside, then your left neighbor takes a turn.
After everyone has completed three turns and the buffet has been distributed, pass the starting-player worm clockwise for the next round. Do not choose the biggest appetite again between rounds.
With two players, add three dice for the Robo chicken and reveal three worm morsels each round. The human starting player rolls one die for it after both humans’ first roll, and likewise after the second and third roll. The Robo chicken never gets the starting-player worm, never uses worm-morsel actions, and loses tied dice totals; remove the morsel it wins from the game.
Tied dice totals are resolved clockwise from the current starting player when distributing the buffet. Final-score ties compare the number of worm morsels, then share victory if still tied. Neither rule breaks a tie in the opening appetite criterion.
These Zoch English rules cover two to five players. They do not cover the shorter title Gigi Gacker.
