The last person to have read a fairy tale becomes the starting player and receives the starting-player card, bright side up. They take the first turn.
Rule details
After the first turn, play proceeds clockwise.
If there’s a tie
The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
