Each player states the largest number of tiles they can play in one color or one shape without duplicates. The player with the largest such group plays those tiles first.

Play then continues clockwise.
Our interpretation
The same tiles cannot repeat a color and shape within the claimed opening group.
Official tie-break or fallback
If players have equally large opening groups, the oldest of those players goes first.
