Who goes first in Secret Hitler?

After players look at their secret roles, randomly select the first Presidential Candidate and give that player both the President and Chancellor placards.
If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.
Rule details
At the start of each new round, the President placard moves clockwise to the next player, who becomes the new Presidential Candidate.
The Presidential Candidate then nominates a Chancellor, and everyone votes on the government.
If there’s a tie
The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
