Who goes first in Tipperary?

The player who most recently saw a living sheep takes the cloth bag and spins the wheel first. The rules also allow the group to choose the bag holder randomly.

Rule details

In the standard placement phase, everyone selects and places landscape tiles simultaneously after the bag holder spins the wheel; the bag holder is an opening role, not the only player to place a tile.

The optional sequential placement variant starts with the bag holder and proceeds clockwise.

The cloth bag passes clockwise to the next player at the end of each round.

If there’s a tie

The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
