Who goes first in War of the Ring: Second Edition?
Ares English second edition
In the two-player game, the Free Peoples player takes the first action in the Action Resolution phase. The two sides then alternate actions.
If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.
Rule details
Earlier phases handle card draws, the Fellowship, Hunt allocation and rolling Action dice.
In the four-player game, the non-Leading Free Peoples player acts first. On the first turn, that is the Rohan player; Gondor begins with the Leading Player token.
If there’s a tie
The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
