Choose a player to go first. Turns then pass clockwise.

Rule details

This edition's standard four-player rules do not fix blue as the first color. A two-player variant separately prescribes a color order.

If there’s a tie

The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
