Who goes first in Dominion: Intrigue?

Rio Grande English second edition

Choose the starting player randomly. If you just played a game of Dominion that did not end in a tie, the previous winner plays last and the player to their left starts.

If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.

Rule details

Intrigue's second edition requires the basic cards and rulebook supplied by Dominion; the starting instruction comes from those base rules.

The earlier standalone first edition is not the edition reviewed here.

If there’s a tie

The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
