Who goes first in Grand Austria Hotel?

Lookout English revised edition

Randomly choose a start player and give them the turn-order tile showing 1. That player rolls the dice and gets the first turn.

If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.

Rule details

Give the remaining turn-order tiles clockwise. During play, follow their numbers in increasing order.

The setup guest selection starts with the player to the start player’s right and proceeds counterclockwise, so the start player chooses last.

If there’s a tie

The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
