Who goes first in Wroth?
Chip Theory Games · English Rules of Play v1.0 · ©2025 · 2–4 players
Randomly choose the first player and give them the First Player token. That player starts the clockwise drafting and Action Phase turn order.
If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.
Rule details
Keep the token with the chosen player in Round 1. In each later round, pass it to the next clockwise player during Maintenance.
Maintenance and Spoils precede Groundwork, which players may perform simultaneously; drafting follows Groundwork.
This entry covers standard player-versus-player mode. Solo and cooperative games use separate human-player setup and AI turn rules.
