Who goes first in Ra?

Rio Grande Games English rules, 2008

Players randomly decide who gets which group of Sun tiles; the player with the highest-numbered Sun begins. Play then continues clockwise.

If your rules call for a random choice, use the player picker.

Rule details

Sun groups are dealt out at random during setup, so the starting player is effectively chosen at random.

At the start of each later epoch, the player who now has the highest-numbered Sun begins.

If there’s a tie

The rulebook doesn’t say. If you need a tie-break, pick a player at random.
