Who goes first in Space Base?
AEG English base game
Each player draws a random Level 1 ship during setup. Whoever draws the highest sector number takes the starting-player card and goes first.
Official tie-break or fallback
Players tied for the highest sector number roll the dice; the highest total goes first.
Rule details
Buy and install the drawn ship as instructed during setup. Turns proceed clockwise.
