• ClueHasbro classic Clue English instructionsThe player using Miss Scarlet takes the first turn. Play then passes to the player on the left.
• ClueHasbro US rules (2–6 players), 2023Roll one of the six-sided dice to determine who goes first. After each turn, the player to the left goes next.
• MonopolyEach player rolls both dice. The player with the highest total goes first, and play then passes to the left.
• RiskHasbro Risk Global Domination English instructionsDuring initial army placement, every player rolls one die. The highest roller places the first infantry unit; placement then continues clockwise. That same player takes the first regular turn.
• RiskHasbro English rules (2–5 players), 2015In Secret Mission Risk, each player rolls one die and whoever rolls the highest number goes first. In Classic Risk, the highest roller places the first Infantry and takes the first turn.
• ScrabbleEveryone draws one tile. The player with the letter closest to A goes first, and a blank tile beats any letter.
