Rule details
In a three- or four-player game, each player chooses two cards to play during the opening draft before passing the rest of their hand.
In a two-player game, each player chooses one card to play and one to discard; the play step remains simultaneous.
The rulebook describes Exploration, Construction, and Harvest as phases played simultaneously by all players.
